I'm a Shrub

Lunchtime!!

Bravely battling against the wind, I managed to get myself down to Whole Paycheck to pick up some delicious raw salad - yum!!

If only I had the patience/time to make this sort of stuff myself - It may not look like much but it's fabulously yummy....mmm

Anyway, in the entrance I was greeted to a spectular display of the prettiest pink heathers I have ever seen...they really caught my eye and seeing as though I managed to kill my little cactus, (how hard is it to keep a catus alive, for heaven's sake?!) I could not resist all that pink - here's the newest member of my family....

I think I'll call her Mini Me - unless you can think of a better name?

Very nice plants these winter flowering heathers. Looks very much like Calluna vulgaris but since they flower in the summer it must be an Erica (E.x darleyensis perhaps). Call it Eric why don't ya.
