The Kindness of Stranger

As any other morning, I was knitting whilst waiting for the train to arrive.
What was different about today was that my naughty yarn lept out of my bag and down onto the track, "Arggghhhh!!" I screamed.
A very lovely fellow, jumped down to retrive it for me - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! What a nice man.
Here's the cone, safe, sound, not too grubby after it's traumatic ordeal and ready to become the rest of my final project for the you-know-what.

Wow, that's incredible. I rarely encounter anyone that kind in the subway!

Just wanted to let you know that I saw your comment on my blog. Thanks so much for responding. I did search the knitty boards and found one picture of a FO. It's made out of mohair and looks great -- very much like the original picture on knitty. I don't think I'll get around to making it for awhile, but will definitely let you know once I've made it and have pictures!

Here's the URL of the photos I found on knitty.

And here's the knitty thread

That's one nice stranger! Did you invite him to SnB? He sounds like a keeper for one of our single friends--so devoted to knitting!

Wow what a great stranger! I wouldn't know what to do if that happened to me. My first instict would be to retrive it, but then I would remember the third rail. I don't know which one is live. Good thing it's a dark color as well. I think since you are knitting soemthing for the book, he should get a nod on the page where you thank everyone!

What a nice man -- or a crazy one! I think he was blinded by your beauty. I've never seen someone jump into the tracks before!

I completely agree with Mud. He must have been crazy and blinded by beautiful blondness...

Hiya!

Just a quickie to say that I've got the bio and pic ready, will be sending them at the weekend, so so sorry about the delay, I've had my family staying over for a while, and I'm trying to catch up on stuff now. Hope it's ok.

Take care xxx
